Did not play due to COVID-19. Was assigned to the Angels Alternate Training Site...Played the offseason in the Dominican Winter League for ?guilas, who won the Dominican League title. He appeared in 18 games during the regular season appeared in two of their postseason games en route to the title.

Returned to U.S. in 2019 after playing in Mexican League the previous season...Played 92 games for Triple-A Syracuse in the International League, slashing .294/.358/.508 with 60 R, 14 2B, 6 3B, 13 HR, 48 RBI and 16 SB (2 CS)...Appeared in first 29 games of the season with Double-A Binghamton in Eastern League.

Arismendy began the season with Chicago, appearing in 11 games from April 5-19 before he was optioned to Triple-A Iowa, April 20 ... was named a PCL mid-season All-Star for the second-straight season with Iowa. Recorded a walk-off single against the Reds in the Cubs 7-6 triumph, April 13 ... was the Cubs first walk-off victory of the season. Posted a .077 average (2-for-26) with five runs scored and a RBI with the Cubs. He made six starts at second base and one start at third, with the Cubs going 5-2 in his seven starts. With Iowa, he batted .231 (105-for-454) with 20 doubles, a league-leading 10 triples, 12 home runs, 36 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 120 games … was the only PCL Player with 10 or more doubles, triples and homers. Belted two solo homers, June 15 at Omaha.
