Beau Grayson Sulser...Is a 2012 graduate of Ramona High School, which is located near San Diego...Played three years on the varsity baseball team in high school...Played four seasons of baseball at Dartmouth College, where he went 13-7 with a 3.48 ERA in 33 games (21 starts), and struck out 124 batters in 142.1 innings during his career...Departed a game against Yale in 2014 during his sophomore season that led to him having “Tommy John” surgery...Missed the 2015 season after having elbow surgery...Returned to the mound for Dartmouth in 2016 and went 4-1 with a 2.82 ERA in 10 games...His Dartmouth team reached the Ivy League Championship series in his first four years from 2013-16...Was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Year in 2017 to go with first-team honors on All-Ivy League, All-New England and ABCA All-Northeast Region teams... Went 6-1 in seven starts and threw four complete games as a senior, including one shutout; his 0.80 WHIP ranked second in the country and 1.40 ERA ranked third...Studied psychology at Dartmouth...His brother, Cole, was selected by Cleveland in the 25th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft...Cole made his MLB debut with the Rays on 9/6/2019 in Tampa Bay against the Toronto Blue Jays and pitched one scoreless inning (Beau attended his brother’s debut at Tropicana Field)...Signed by Pirates scout Eddie Charles.
