Blake Alan Cederlind…Is a 2014 graduate of Turlock (CA) High School, where he was the Central California Pitcher-of-the-Year as a senior after going 8-1 with a 2.50 ERA and 52 strikeouts...Attended the same high school as current Pirates infielder Kevin Kramer...Went 3-1 with 17 strikeouts in 21.2 innings over 13 appearances (two starts) in his only season at Merced College in 2015...Signed by Pirates scout Mike Sansoe.

2020

Began season at the alternate training site in Altoona...Was a member of the Taxi Squad for the road trip to Chicago-AL and Milwaukee from 8/24-31...Was activated from the Taxi Squad while team was in Cincinnati on 9/15... Made his Major League debut on 9/15 and retired all three Cincinnati batters he faced...Was scored upon for the only time on 9/21; gave up three hits and was charged with two runs without retiring a Cubs batter at PNC Park...Retired all three Chicago batters he faced on 9/24...Made final appearance in last game of the season on 9/27 at Cleveland and retired all three batters he faced.

2019

Went 5-2 with four saves, a 2.28 ERA (59.1ip/15er), 55 strikeouts and a .211 batting average against in 41 relief appearances between Single-A Bradenton, Double-A Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis...Also surrendered just two home runs between the three teams...Recorded a 1.69 ERA (53.1ip/10er) in 38 combined appearances between Bradenton and Altoona before being promoted to Indianapolis on 8/22...Was scored upon once in seven games with the Marauders before being promoted to Altoona on 5/4...Did not allow a run in his first seven appearances (12.1ip) with the Curve from 5/4-25...Recorded first Double-A win on 6/5 at Erie while being charged with his first earned run with the Curve (a solo homer)...Was placed on the temporary inactive list for bereavement on 6/26; was reinstated on 7/1...Tossed 13.0 straight scoreless innings over 10 outings from 6/14 to 7/15...Recorded first Double-A save on 8/9 vs. Reading...Was scored upon in just seven of his 31 outings with Altoona before being promoted to Indianapolis on 8/22...Went 1-1 with a 1.18 ERA (8.0ip/1er) in eight relief appearances for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League.

Split season between West Virginia and Bradenton and went 4-4 with a 4.89 ERA (49.2ip/27er) in 36 appearances (one start) with the two teams...Earned first win in his third appearance on 4/14 at Hickory (2.0ip/0r)...Recorded first professional save on 6/6 vs. Lexington...Tossed 3.0 scoreless innings while making a spot start on 6/8 at Hickory (game two)...Allowed three runs in 18.1 innings over his final 13 appearances with West Virginia before being promoted to Bradenton on 6/22...Recorded three saves in four appearances from 7/3-15...Allowed 11 of his 20 runs with Bradenton in two outings.

2017

Spent entire season with West Virginia...Went 2-1 with a 7.46 ERA (35.0ip/29er) in 18 relief appearances and 0-2 with an 8.22 ERA (23.0ip/21er) in seven starts...Earned first professional win on 4/18 at Hickory.

2016

Made professional debut with Bristol after being selected by the Pirates in the fifth round of the First-Year Player Draft...Allowed three runs (2er) in 2.0 innings while making professional debut on 6/26 vs. Greeneville.
