Married Danielle...Is a 2012 graduate of Custer County High School in Miles City, Mont.…played for Bobby Valentine's All-American travel team from 2010-11, and in the Area Code Games in 2011...Is involved in the Elevation Christian Church youth group in the offseason…his wife is the head of the youth group.

2019

Spent most of the season with Class AAA Charlotte after making his first career Opening Day roster with the White Sox...Made his season debut on 4/1 at Cleveland, working 0.2 scoreless IP in relief...Surrendered two runs on one hit and one walk over 1.1 IP on 4/7 vs. Seattle…was optioned to Class AAA Charlotte on 4/10...Was recalled from Charlotte on 5/5 and walked the only batter he faced that afternoon vs. Boston…was optioned back to the Knights postgame for the remainder of the 2019 season...Was limited to 21 appearances with the Knights due to two stints on the injured list...Was on the IL from 5/18-6/1 with a strained right quad, and from 6/14-8/9 with a strained left triceps…made three rehab appearances with the Arizona Rookie League White Sox...Was transferred to Class A Winston-Salem following the IL stint and made three appearances before returning to the Knights for the remainder of the season.

Made his major-league debut on 9/2 vs. Boston, working 1.0 scoreless IP with two strikeouts … struck out Blake Swihart in the seventh for the first of his career ... Recorded his first career hold on 9/15 at Baltimore (0.2 scoreless IP) and suffered his first loss on 9/19 at Cleveland (1 ER/0.1 IP) ... Did not allow a run over his final four outings from 9/20-28, surrendering just one hit over 3.0 IP ... Combined to go 5-1 with a 0.78 ERA (5 ER/57.1 IP), five saves, 77 strikeouts and a 0.94 WHIP over 43 combined appearances between Trenton, Scranton/W-B and Charlotte … posted a 12.1 strikeouts-per-9.0 IP mark ... Split the season between Class AA Trenton and Class A Tampa in the Yankees organization, going 3-4 with a 4.02 ERA (28 ER/62.2 IP), one save and 78 strikeouts (11.2 per 9.0 IP) over 39 relief appearances ... Held right-handers to a .167 (13-78) average, while lefties batted .188 (6-32) ... Started the season at Trenton before being optioned to Tampa on 7/4 ... Went 1-0 with a 1.65 ERA (3 ER/16.1 IP), 21 strikeouts and a .196 (10-51) opponents average over his last eight outings of the season.

2016

Spent the entire season with Tampa, holding opponents to a .198 (33-167) average ... Did not allow an earned run over his first 15 appearances of the season (21.2 IP) … tossed 17.0 consecutive scoreless IP to begin the season ... Was on Tampa's disabled list from 5/29-7/13 with a sprained left shoulder ... Was promoted to Trenton for the Eastern League playoffs on 9/4 … made one postseason relief appearance (0.1 IP, 1 SO).

Combined to go 6-3 with a 2.91 ERA (18 ER/55.2 IP), three saves and 58 strikeouts in 37 relief appearances between Class A Charleston and Tampa ...
