Signed by Pittsburgh to a Minor League contract on Feb. 2. Spent most of the season with Triple-A Indianapolis, slashing .241/.349/.449 with 33 extra base hits and 41 RBI over 86 games. In 11 games with Pittsburgh, hit .160 (4-for-25) with four total bases. Played a majority of the season with Triple-A Indianapolis at shortstop for a .964 fielding percentage, committing four errors over 112 total chances in 296.2 innings.
