In his first appearances since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2022, he spent the entire season with Double-A San Antonio, going 1-7 with a 6.20 ERA (48 ER, 69.2 IP) in 25 outings (17 starts)...In his 17 starts, he went just 1-6 with a 6.90 ERA (47 ER, 61.1 IP)...but in his eight relief outings, he owned a 1.08 ERA (1 ER, 8.1 IP)...Began the year as a starter, but his last seven appearances of the season came as a reliever...in those seven app., he allowed just 1 earned run...His 17 starts were his first starts since 2021 and his 25 total appearances were his most since he also made 25 in 2018...Struck out 54 of his 313 total batters faced, walking just 16...Started the season with a 7.27 ERA in May, 7.91 ERA in June, and a 7.11 ERA in July...finished the year with a 0.93 in 5 August outings, and a .270 ERA in 2.70 in 4 September appearances...When pitching with runners in scoring position, opposing batters hit .377 (26-for-69)...Re-signed with the Padres as a Minor League free agent on Dec. 29, 2023.

Received his first ML action across three separate stints with SD¡earned Triple-A West Postseason All-Star honors for the El Paso Chihuahuas...Made his ML debut June 19 vs. CIN, allowing three runs on four hits while striking out three across 2.2 IP in SD¡¯s 7-5 victory¡ was scoreless in his first 2.0 frames before giving up three runs in the fifth inning¡optioned back to ELP the following day...Recalled from ELP on July 8 and relieved Yu Darvish in the fourth inning and surrendered two runs, resulting in the Padres trailing the Nationals 8-0¡after Fernando Tatis Jr.¡¯s solo HR and Wil Myers¡¯ bases-loaded walk, Camarena came to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a grand slam off Max Scherzer on a 1-2 pitch for his first career hit, igniting SD¡¯s franchise-tying largest comeback win...He was the second pitcher in MLB history to hit a grand slam for his 1st career hit (also: ¡°Frosty¡± Bill Duggleby in 1898) and the 1st to do it in baseball since SF¡¯s Brandon Crawford on May 27, 2011, @ MIL¡he was also the first relief pitcher to hit a slam since PIT¡¯s Don ¡°Caveman¡± Robinson vs. CHC on Sept. 12, 1985...He made 22 app. (19 starts) for the Chihuahuas, going 6-7 with a 4.75 ERA (44 ER, 83.1 IP)...Allowed just one hit across 6.0-shutout innings June 8 @ Round Rock, earning Triple-A West Player of the Week honors on June 13...Relied on five pitches: Sinker (33%), Slider (30%), 4-Seam Fastball (20%), Curveball (11%) and Changeup (6%).

Signed a minor league contract with MIN in January and made 1 start for Rochester (AAA) in April before being released by MIN on Apr. 29...Signed by NYY to a minor league contract on May 8 and went on to make 17 app. (16 starts ) for Scranton/Wilkes Barre, going 4-8 with a 6.27 ERA (69 ER, 99.0 IP) and 88 SO against 22 BB.

Signed by CHC as a minor league free agent and spent time in the Cubs' ML Spring Training camp before being re-acquired by NYY in exchange for future considerations..Made 8 appearances (all starts) for SWB and posted a 5.08 ERA (22 ER, 39.0 IP) before being released by NYY on May 20...Signed by SF to a minor league contract on May 24 and spent the majority of the campaign with Sacramento (AAA), going 1-8 with a 5.65 ERA (50 ER, 79.2 IP) in 16 app. (15 starts)...also made 1 start for Richmond (AA) on July 22 vs. Akron, allowing 2 ER across 7 IP.

Went 6-6 with a 3.65 ERA (48 ER/118.1 IP) between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in his final season in the Yankees system ... combined to walk just 31 in 118.1 innings while striking out 78 ... was on the disabled list, May 14-June 18, with a left shoulder strain... Started the year with two starts at Trenton ... was promoted to Scranton and went 4-1 with a 2.15 ERA (7 ER/29.1 IP) and a .190 opponent batting average prior to landing on the D.L... Activated, June 18, with a start for Trenton followed by two outings at Triple-A before returning to Trenton for the remainder of the season, starting July 6... Posted a 3.21 ERA (12 ER/33.2 IP) to begin his third stint with the Thunder, July 6-August 3 ... finished his season with 7.1 frames without allowing an earned run, September 3 vs. Reading (game two).

Went 10-7 with a complete game, one save and a 3.68 ERA (58 ER/141.2 IP) in 29 games (22 starts) between Single-A Tampa, Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre ... his 1.52 BB/9.0 IP ratio was 15th-lowest among all minor leaguers (min. 140.0 IP)... Began the year with Tampa and was 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA (1 ER/6.0 IP) in two relief appearances... Pitched the majority of the season at Trenton, going 9-6 with one complete game, one save and a 3.68 ERA (53 ER/129.2 IP) in 25 games (22 starts)... In his first 10 starts with the Thunder, was 5-1 with a 1.63 ERA (10 ER/55.1 IP)... Was 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA (4 ER/6.0 IP) in two relief appearances for Scranton/WB early in the season … made one postseason start for Scranton/WB, tossing 5.1 scoreless innings (5H, 1BB, 4K) at Gwinnett to earn the win in Game 1 of the Governors' Cup Championship Series...
