Acquired by the New York Mets on 5/25 and assigned to Triple-A Syracuse...Released by the Mets on 7/22...Signed with the Washington Nationals on 8/4 and assigned to the FCL Nationals...Promoted to Double-A Harrisburg on 8/9...Promoted to Triple-A Rochester on 8/16...Appeared in 70 games between six teams, batting .219/.268/.347 (55-for-251) with nine doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 24 runs scored, 29 RBI, 16 walks and two stolen bases.

Spent three stints at the ML level with Cleveland after being optioned out of Spring Training (March 19)...Batted .368 (7-for-19) in the spring with a 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI in 9 games...Recalled from the Columbus Alternate Site for the first time on May 3, going 0-for-9 over two games in Chicago-AL, striking out 5 times on May 4 at CWS (most by a CLE batter since Jim Thome in 2000; tied club record; fifth time)...Second stint came, July 7-Aug. 2, hitting first career home run on July 18 at Oakland and first career PH HR on July 23 vs. Tampa Bay...Last stint came Aug. 16-Sept. 11... Enjoyed some hot stretches over his last two stints, going 15-for-43 (.349) over 16 games, July 17-Aug. 26 (4 HR, 5 RBI)...Went 1-for-18 over last 8 games before spending the final three weeks of the season in Columbus...Positionally with Cleveland, he made 16 starts in RF (19G) and 7 starts in LF (9 games)...Was designated for assignment on Nov. 19 and outrighted to AAA Columbus five days later after going unclaimed.

Opened the season on the Major League roster after Tyler Naquin was forced to the Injured List with a Summer Camp broken toe...Made his Major League debut on July 25 in a start in RF vs. Kansas City and collected his only base hit on July 28 vs. Chicago-AL (Game 1)...Overall he made three starts in RF (four games) and one start in LF...Was with the club from July 24-28 and was immediately recalled on July 29 when Roberto P¨¦rez went on the IL...Optioned back on August 6 to the Lake County Alternate Training Site and spent the remainder of the season there.
2019
Split the season between AA Akron and AAA Columbus, batting a combined .290 (140-for-483) with 76 runs, 34 2B, 7 3B, 19 HR and 77RBI in 123 games (.361/.507/.868)...Was named an organizational All-Star by MLB.com and finished T1st among Indians farmhands in XBH (60), T3rd in RBI, 4th in runs and 8th in average...Started the year in Akron and was promoted to Columbus on May 25, spending the remainder of the year with the Clippers...Reached base via hit or BB in 22 straight games, June 26-July 27...Enjoyed a 5-RBI game, Aug. 22 vs. Louisville and had back-to-back 4-RBI games, April 13-15...Hit .333 (35-for-105) in July...After the season appeared in 25 games for Escogido in the Dominican Winter League (.235, 11 RBI).
2018
Season was limited to 96 games due to a broken right hamate bone (hand) that required surgery...Hit .327 (37-for-113) with 8 2B, 3 3B, 5 RBI and 9 steals in 28 May games...Appeared in 18 games after the season in the Arizona Fall League (.145, 9-for-62)...Rated as the 15th-best prospect in the Indians system by ESPN's Keith Law (entering 2019 season).
2017
Began the season with Single-A Hagerstown before a promotion to Single-A Potomac on 7/23...Hit a combined .298 with 29 doubles, 4 triples, 22 HR, 72 RBI, 35 walks, 22 SB and 83 runs in 130 games...Ranked among Washington farmhands in avg (3rd, .298), HR (3rd, 22), RBI (5th, 72) and SB (4th, 22)... Was one of just 10 players in all of Minor League Baseball (one of four at the Single-A level) to record at least 20 HR and 20 SB...His .505 slugging percentage was good for eighth among all Single-A players and his .861 OPS was 10th...17 HR in South Atlantic League play were ultimately tied for the second-most in league during the 2017 season... Entered the season rated as the No. 28 prospect in Washington's system per MLB.com.
