2016

Made two relief appearances for Colorado, posting a 13.50 ERA (2.0IP, 3ER)…also saw time with Triple-A Albuquerque, going 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA (6.0IP, 1ER) in two starts…was designated for assignment by Colorado on 4/22 and claimed off waivers by Baltimore on 4/25…made 20 starts with Triple-A Norfolk, going 4-7 with a 5.84 ERA (94.0IP, 61ER) and 56K.

2015

Made 17 appearances with 12 starts in his first season with the Rockies after beginning the season on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique. Was reinstated from the disabled list April 26 and began his season with Triple-A Albuquerque. Was added as the 26th Man prior to the May 23 doubleheader vs. San Francisco and made his Rockies debut as the starting pitcher in the second game. Made a second start as the 26th Man June 2 in the second game of a doubleheader against Los Angeles-NL. Was recalled to the active roster for the first time June 8, and went 2-4 with a 6.19 ERA (36.1 IP, 25 ER) in seven appearances, six starts, before being placed on the 15-day disabled list July 10 with a groin strain. Was reinstated from the disabled list Aug. 18, and made two starts before being optioned to Triple-A Aug. 23. Was recalled Sept. 3 and moved into a long relief role … went 2-0 with a 6.30 ERA (10.0 IP, 7 ER) and a .310 opponent batting average in five relief appearances. Concluded his 2015 season by moving back into the rotation for two starts, and went 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA (10.0 IP, 5 ER).

2014

Spent the entire season with the Atlanta Braves, making his first career Opening Day roster...Made 45 appearances, along with six starts, throughout the season...went 4-5 with a 3.30 ERA (87.1 IP, 32 ER), 39 walks and 44 strikeouts...Opened the season in the Braves starting rotation, making four starts before moving into a bullpen role...in those four starts, he went 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA (23.1 IP, 6 ER), 11 walks and 15 strikeouts...the Braves went 2-2 in those starts...As a reliever, he was 2-4 with a 3.81 ERA (54.1 IP, 23 ER) in 39 games...did not allow a run over his first 12 appearances from the pen, a span of 15.2 innings...Went 0-2 with a 2.84 ERA (31.2 IP, 10 ER) and a 1.33 WHIP in 18 home relief games...was 2-2 with a 5.16 ERA (22.2 IP, 13 ER) and a 1.90 WHIP in 21 road relief appearances.

2013

In his fifth professional campaign, made his Major League debut on 9/13 vs. SD after spending the majorityof the season with the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves, going 6-9 with a 3.22 ERA over 22 appearances, including 20 games started. Has his contract purchased by the Braves on 9/3 and remained with the club through the National League Division Series. Made his first career postseason appearance in Game 3 of the National League Division Series vs. LAD after making just two career regular season appearances (both starts). He retired his only batter faced in the NLDS, grouding out Juan Uribe in the ninth inning. Made an historical Major League debut on 9/13 vs. SD as he tossed 5.0 scoreless frames and allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out nine. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Hale established the Braves franchise record for strikeouts in a Major League debut. Since 1900, two Braves pitchers had eight strikeouts in their debut: Bob Dresser (8/13/1902) and Kenshin Kawakami (4/11/2009). Over the previous 10 seasons (since 2004), only two other pitchers did not allow a run and fanned nine or more players in their MLB debuts: Matt Harvey and Collin McHugh, who both did so for the New York Mets in 2012. No Braves pitcher had an outing of this type in his debut in the modern era (since 1900). Collected his first Major League win in his second career start, 9/26 vs. PHI, holding the Phillies to one run through 6.0 innings in a 7-1 victory. Pitched at a 5.51 ERA over his first three Triple-A starts of the season, 4/6-17. Was placed on the Gwinnett disabled list with a right shoulder strain from 4/18-5/29. Following the DL stint, posted a 2.84 ERA spanning 19 appearances (17 starts) through the remainder of the season. Selected by the Braves organization as the Gwinnett Braves Most Valuable Pitcher. Ranked second among G-Braves pitchers in starts (22) and "quality starts" (12), tied for second in wins (6), ranked third in innings pitched (114.2) and was fourth in strikeouts (77). **Did not qualify for ERA ranking due to innings pitched qualification. Pitched at a 1.83 ERA (78.1 IP/16 ER) over a 13-game span, 6/15-8/23. Recorded at least 6.0 innings in 12 of his 20 starts, including 11 of his final 14 starts of the season. Named by the Braves organization as the Gwinnett July Pitcher of the Month (3-2, 0.86 ERA). His longest outing of the season came on 7/7 at Durham as he tossed 7.1 innings and gave up one earned run on six hits in a 1-0 loss. Won three consecutive starts, 7/20-8/1, allowing just four earned runs over 18.0 innings pitched. Received 38 runs of support over his 20 starts, for an average of 1.90 runs per game. Enters the 2014 season ranked by Baseball America as the Braves' seventh-best prospect.

2012

Named by Baseball America as the Braves' 16th-best prospect entering the 2013 season. Among Braves farmhands, ranked sixth in ERA (3.77) and third in strikeouts (124). Named to the mid-season Southern League All-Star team after posting a 5-3 record with a 4.21 ERA 36 ER/77.0 IP) in the season's first half. Posted a 1.99 ERA (5 ER/22.2 IP) in the month of August, going 1-0 in five starts. Struck out a season-high 11 batters over 7.2 scoreless innings of work while allowing just five hits and one walk on 6/6 at Huntsville. Held left-handed hitters to a .215 (53-for-247) average compared to right-handers who batted .239 (68-for-284) against him. Allowed one earned run or less in 15 starts.

2011

Spent the entire season with Single-A Lynchburg, going 4-6 with a 4.10 ERA (101.0IP, 46ER) in 28 games (13 starts)…was named the organization's July "Pitcher of the Month"…following the season, was tabbed by Baseball America as the No. 21 prospect in the Braves organization.

2010

Went 5-8 with a 4.13 ERA (93.2IP, 43ER) in 28 games (seven starts) with Single-A Rome, allowing just 1HR…in 21 relief appearances, was 5-3 with five saves and a 2.16 ERA (66.2IP, 16ER)…as a starter, was 0-5 with a 9.00 ERA (27.0IP, 27ER)…following the season, was tabbed by Baseball America as the Braves' No. 17 prospect…was also named by the publication as having the "Best Slider" in the Braves organization.

2009

Made his professional debut, going 2-1 with one save and a 1.12 ERA (16.0IP, 2ER) in seven appearances (one start) for Rookie-level Danville.
