2018

Was on the IL twice with a right shoulder strain: 4/5-29 and 5/25-9/4...Following his first IL stint, began his season with Fresno (AAA)…On 7/30, was traded with Ken Giles and Hector Perez to TOR for Roberto Osuna...Six of his seven relief appearances (all in September) with TOR were scoreless.

2017

Spent a month in the Majors with the Astros in 2017, in what was his second-career campaign in the Major Leagues...went 2-0 with a 6.52 ERA (21ER/29IP) in six starts...struck out 34 batters and walked seven in his 29.0 innings of work...opened the season on the 10-day Disabled List with right arm inflammation...was activated from the DL and optioned to Triple A Fresno on May 12...saw his first action of the season with Triple A Fresno...made three starts before being recalled to the Major League club on May 30...made his first Major League appearance of the season on May 31 at MIN...gave up two runs on five hits in 4.0 innings...struck out eight batters and walked one...became the third starter in Astros history to strike out at least eight batters in an outing of 4.0 innings-or-less...joined LHP Erik Bedard (April 21, 2013 vs. CLE) and RHP J.R. Put together his busiest season as a professional, appearing in 13 games (12 starts) with Class A Short Season Tri-City, Class A Quad Cities and Class A Advanced Lancaster...pitched in 67.1 innings, eclipsing his previous high of 20.0 innings in 2013...owned a 2.81 ERA (21ER/67.1IP) with a 9.6 strikeouts per 9.0 innings ratio, fanning 72 batters...started two games to begin the season for short-season Tri-City and did not allow a run over 9.1 innings, before being promoted to Class A Quad Cities...was 3-2 with a 1.57 ERA in five starts with the River Bandits...struck out 32 in 28.2 innings...held Midwest League hitters to a .202 average while posting a 0.98 WHIP...was named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for the week of July 13, while with Quad Cities...he went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA (0ER/6IP), eight strikeouts and no walks in his scoreless appearance on July 7 vs. Cedar Rapids...it marked a stretch of four straight games with at least six strikeouts, fanning 28 in 24.2 innings...was promoted to Lancaster on July 26 from Quad Cities...in his final two regular season outings (Aug. 7 vs. Rancho Cucamonga; Sept. 4 vs. High Desert), tied a career high with 7.0 innings in both starts...over the course of the two games, fanned 17 batters while walking only one...made his first postseason appearance on Sept. 10 at High Desert in Game 2 of the California League South Division Mini-Series...allowed three runs in 4.1 innings of work.

2013

Made four appearances with the GCL Tigers...went 2-1 with a 2.70 ERA (6ER/20IP) and 22 punchouts...made only four appearances (all starts) before injuring his elbow and being placed on the disabled list July 16, where he remained through the end of the season...was traded to the Astros following the season on Sept. 13, as the PTBNL in the Jose Veras trade.

2012

Made three appearances with the GCL Tigers...allowed only one earned run in his 4.0 innings (3G/1GS)...began the season on the 7-day disabled list, and was transferred to the 60-day DL on June 29...was activated on Aug. 17, making all three of his appearances to close out the season.

2011

Made his debut as a professional with the DSL Tigers...did not allow an earned run over 15.0 innings of work, pitching in eight games and starting seven...held batters to a .160 batting average, giving up only eight hits in 50 at-bats.
