Spent the entire season with Class AA Birmingham....Would have ranked second in the organization in ERA (2.90) with the required IP....Limited right-handers to a .210/.290/.383 (34-162) slash line… opponents hit just .185 (12-65) with RISP....Went 5-4 with a 3.41 ERA (26 ER/68.2 IP) and 80 strikeouts in 15 starts and 2-0 with a 0.60 mark (1 ER/15.0 IP) and 19 strikeouts over six relief appearances....Was designated for assignment by the White Sox on 2/1 and outrighted on 2/8....Earned the win in his Barons debut on 5/7 vs. Biloxi … allowed just two runs on four hits in 5.0 IP....Did not allow an earned run in consecutive starts vs. Montgomery on 5/18 (4.0 scoreless IP) and 5/23 (4.0 IP; three unearned runs)....Went 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA (2 ER/20.0 IP) and 27 strikeouts over seven appearances (two starts) in July … five of the outings were scoreless....Made back-to-back scoreless starts on 8/5 vs. Mississippi (5.0 IP; 12 strikeouts) and 8/11 vs. Chattanooga (5.1 IP)....Worked 6.0 scoreless IP in a win on 9/7 vs. Rocket City....Signed with Chicago as a minor-league free agent on 11/23.

2020

Did not pitch following the cancellation of the minor-league season due to the COVID-19 pandemic...Was claimed by Chicago off waivers from Arizona on 11/20.

2019

Went 5-3 with a 3.78 ERA (36 ER in 85.2 IP) and a 1.13 WHIP in 17 starts with Double-A Jackson...Was 4-0 with a 1.13 ERA (4 ER in 32.0 IP) over his final 6 starts after July 29...Made 2 postseason starts for Jackson, going 2-0 with a 2.77 ERA (4 ER in 13.0 IP) and 15 strikeouts…earned the win in the decisive Game 5 of the Southern League Championship Series, allowing 1 run over 7.0 innings with 9 strikeouts in a 6-2 win over Biloxi...On the injured list from May 10-July 4 with right biceps tendinitis…made 3 rehab starts with the Rooke-Level AZL D-backs... Appeared in 3 games (1 start) for Salt River in the Arizona Fall League, going 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA (2 ER in 6.0 IP), 9 strikeouts and 0 walks.

Combined to go 9-8 with a 2.88 ERA, .229 opponent average, 170 strikeouts and a 1.20 WHIP in 26 games (25 starts) with Single-A Adv. Visalia and Double-A Jackson...Tied for sixth in Minor League baseball in strikeouts with Michael Kopech/ CWS...Named a California League mid-and postseason All-Star...Averaged 11.7 strikeouts per 9.0 innings and ranked third in the CL in strikeouts (140)...Was 6-1 with a 1.04 ERA (8 ER in 69.0 IP) in his first 13 starts from April 7-June 15.

Spent the entire season with Class A Kane County...Held right-handed hitters to a .217 (46-212) average...Posted a 2-2 record with a 3.13 ERA (11 ER/31.2 IP) over seven appearances (six starts) before the All-Star Break...Was on the injured list from 6/5-18 with chicken pox.

Was on the injured list from 6/5-18 with chicken pox...Struck out 17 batters over 8.0 IP on 8/20 at Quad Cities.

2015

Combined to go 6-1 with a 2.70 ERA (18 ER/60.0 IP), one save, 55 strikeouts and a .226 (49-217) opponents average over 15 appearances (seven starts) between the AZL Diamondbacks, Advanced Rookie Missoula and Visalia....Made all seven starts for the AZL D'Backs, going 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA (8 ER/30.1 IP).. went 4-0 with a 3.03 ERA (10 ER/29.2 IP) as a reliever.
