2022

Signed with Arizona as minor league free agent March 14...began season with Triple-A Reno...Hit safely in first eight games with Aces, hitting .414 (12-for-29) with three doubles, one home run, five RBI, five walks and a 1.121 OPS in that span....Selected by Arizona from Reno on May 19 and made two starts at catcher for the D-Backs...optioned back to Reno May 24....Played in 35 more games for the Aces from May 26-Aug. 17...caught 32 games in that span...finished with 39 games caught for Reno on season, two for the D-Backs...Placed on Reno's 7-day Injured List with right knee inflammation Aug. 23 and did not return.

2021

Spent time with Detroit and Triple-A Toledo, hitting .236/.321/.333 with four doubles, a home run and seven RBI in 31 games with the Tigers, while he batted .202/.284/.277 with six doubles, a home run and nine RBI in 33 games with the Mud Hens...hit his first home run of the season on April 12 at Houston...finished the game with three RBI, equaling his career high, previously set Sept. 4, 2018 at Chicago-AL...was on the injured list from May 12-June 18 with a left hamstring strain...reached base four times July 28 at Minnesota, going 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two walks...marked the first time in his career he reached base safely four times in a game...drew a career-high three walks Aug. 24 at St. Louis.

2020

Split the 2020 season between Detroit and the club’s alternate training site in Toledo, playing in 18 contests... Went 6x51 with eight runs scored, two doubles, three homers and eight RBI for the Tigers on the season…did so in just 18 games after knocking five long balls and 19 RBI in 58 contests in 2019…five of his six hits were for extra bases, and four of those five drove in at least one run... Had his first hit of the season on Aug. 12 vs. Chicago (AL), a two-run, game-tying double in the fourth inning…snapped an 0x11 streak to start 2020... Belted his first homer of the season on Aug. 23 at Cleveland, a solo shot in the sixth inning…had an exit velocity of 112.1 MPH, which is the highest mark for any batted ball in his career. 

2019

Limited to 58 games in 2019 after missing much of the season due to injury...Hit the first home run of his Major League career on April 19 vs. Chicago (AL), a solo shot in the seventh inning off Ryan Burr...Posted a career-long...Made an Opening Day roster at the Major League level for the first time in his career...Posted a career-long, eight-game hitting streak from April 9-23, hitting .367/.406/.600 with one double, two home runs and six RBI.... Knocked the first triple of his Major League career in the second game of the doubleheader on September 12 vs. New York (AL)...Sidelined from June 14-August 24 with a low back strain...Finished the season strong, hitting .321/.321/.396 with two doubles, one triple and five RBI over 15 games in September.

2018

Saw the first Major League action of his career in 2018, appearing in 30 games with the Tigers...also played in 46 games with Triple A Toledo... Reached base in all five plate appearances on April 18 vs. Durham, going 4x4 with a double, a RBI and a walk...Made his Major League debut on May 5 at Kansas City and recorded a hit in his first at-bat, a single to left field off of Jakob Junis…became the first Tigers player to record a hit in the first at-bat of his first career game since Steven Moya on September 1, 2014 at Cleveland... Recorded his first two Major League RBI in the first game of the doubleheader on May 12 vs. Seattle...Hit safely in the first four games of his Major League career…became the first Tiger to begin his career with a hit in each of their first four Major League games since Quintin Berry hit safely in his first six games in 2012...Drove in a career-high three runs on September 4 at Chicago (AL).

2017

Spent most of the 2017 season at Double A Erie, playing in 98 games for the SeaWolves...Ranked fourth among Eastern League catchers with a 37.2 (29-of-78) caught stealing percentage...Belted a pair of home runs and drove in a season-high six runs on June 14 vs. Binghamton...also hit two homers on August 18 at Bowie...Sidelined from June 28-July 13 with a left thumb sprain...Finished the month of July with a .327 (16x49) batting average, seven runs scored, five doubles, three home runs and seven RBI in 16 games.
