2023

Spent season overseas playing for the NC Dinos of the KBO League...Batted .283 (123/435) with a .815 OPS and 39 extra-base hits in 118 games... Led Dinos with 17 home runs...Ranked fourth in KBO with 90 RBI; 10 sacrifice flies ranked second... Scored five runs and tallied seven RBI in eight games in the KBO playoffs as the Dinos advanced through the Wild Card and Semi-playoff rounds, before falling to the KT Wiz in the Playoff series.

Was set to begin the season with Indianapolis, but was recalled by the Pirates prior to the first Triple-A game on 4/5...Made his Major League debut as the leadoff batter and starter in left field on 4/6 vs. Cincinnati; singled off Tanner Roark in his first bat bat and went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in the game...Became the first Pirates player to make his debut as the leadoff batter since Starling Marte in 2012 (15th Pirate in the last 100 years to do so)...Delivered the game-winning hit in the ninth inning on 4/13 at Washington...Went 8-for-35 (.229) with two RBI in 17 games with the Pirates thru 4/25...Was optioned to Indianapolis on 4/30...Led off the game with a home run on 5/21 at Louisville... Hit .257 (63-for-245) with 14 doubles, seven triples, one home run, 23 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 63 minor league games...Began season with Greeneville (Astros' Rookie) and was named the team MVP...Was named Greeneville's Playerof- the-Month for July after hitting .293 with an .848 OPS in 27 games...Had a 16-game hitting streak between 7/3- 21 (24-for-61, .393) and reached safely in 22 consecutive games between 6/30 and 7/25...Was promoted to Tri-City on 8/9 and finished season in the New York-Penn League...
