Jason Renyt Tyner . . . wife Annie (Easley) . . . daughter Payton (9/24/04) . . . 1995 graduate of West Brook (TX) High School where he played baseball and basketball . . . named Beaumont Student Athlete of the Year and was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior . . . attended Texas A&M University . . . named All-Big 12 and second team All-American in 1998 . . . finished college career first on A&M's all-time list for hits and stolen bases, was second in batting and third in at-bats . . . established "Juliet Tyner Memorial Scholarship Fund" which donates four $1500 scholarships to baseball and softball players each year.
