Hit .302 with eight doubles, four triples, two homers, seven RBI and 23 steals with short-season Single-A Staten Island...ranked fifth in the NYPL in stolen bases and eighth in average...earned NYPL All-Star Game MVP honors after going 1x2 with the game-winning two-run home run... following the season, was named by Baseball America as the 14th-best prospect in the NYPL in 2009

Played in 47 games with the GCL Yankees, appearing at 3B, SS and DH, and batting .280 with nine doubles, two triples, one homer and 15 RBI...collected a career-high five hts on July 19 vs. Bluefield, going 5x5 with two runs and one RBI, one of only four five-hit games in the GCL in 2008.

2007

Hit .259 with 14 doubles, four triples, two homers and 42 RBI with the DSL Yankees in his professional debut...led the team in RBI, ranked second with 69 hits and tied for second in doubles...compiled a 14-game hitting streak from July 31-Aug. 17, hitting .328 (19x58) with 12 RBI over the stretch.
