Jonatan Clase...Picked up an old habit of switch hitting while rehabbing from an injury in 2021...Played 16 games with Toros del Este in the Dominican Winter League for the 2023-24 campaign...Stole 175 total bases over a three-year span from 2022-24 between the Majors and Minors, the second most among all professional players (Chandler Simpson - 198).

2024

Between the Majors and Triple-A last season, appeared in a total of 109 games, batting .260 (112-for-430) with 23 doubles, four triples, 13 home runs, 73 runs scored, 50 RBI, 41 stolen bases, a 10.6% walk rate, a 25.8% strikeout rate, a .338 OBP, a .761 OPS and a 21% barrel rate...Ranked T-3rd in the Majors in average sprint speed at 30 ft/sec, behind only Bobby Witt Jr. (30.5) and Johan Rojas (30.1)...In his seven games played with TOR, hit .350 (7-for-20) with a double, a homer, two RBI and a .985 OPS...Began the season in the Seattle organization and was recalled to the Major League roster for the first time on April 15, recording his first MLB hit and RBI that same day vs. CIN in his MLB debut...Played in a total of 19 games (12 GS) for the Mariners, recording eight hits, three RBI and three stolen bases...Acquired from the Mariners along with C Jacob Sharp in exchange for RHP Yimi García on July 26...On Sept. 20 at TB, recorded his first career hit as a Blue Jay with a single in the seventh inning off RHP Manuel Rodríguez...Recorded his first career home run on Sept. 25 vs. BOS with a two-run shot to right center field in the 7th inning off RHP Josh Winckowski...Reached base safely four times in a single game for the first time in his career.

Appeared in 129 combined games between High-A Everett (21 G) and Double-A Arkansas (108 G), batting .242 (121x501) with 102 runs, 28 doubles, eight triples, 20 home runs, 68 RBIs, 82 walks and 79 stolen bases, while reaching base at a .353 clip and slugging .449 with a .802 OPS...His 79 stolen bases ranked 3rd-most among all minor league players, trailing only Victor Scott II (94 SB) and Chandler Simpson (94 SB)... Became first Minor League player since Minor League stats began being tracked in 1961 to have 20+ HR and 70+ SB in the same season...Played in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at T-Mobile Park...made diving catch in centerfield...Named Northwest League Player of the Month and Mariners Minor League Player of the Month for April, batting .337 (28x83) with 22 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 17 RBIs, 17 walks and 16 stolen bases with a 1.178 OPS during the month... also received player of the week honors twice...Played 16 games with Toros del Este in the Dominican Winter League.

2022

In 107 games hit .267 (113x423) with 22 doulbes, 11 triples, 13 home runs and 49 RBIs while getting on base at a .374 clip and slugging .463 (.837 OPS)...went 55-for-65 in stolen base attempts...Recorded his first multi home run game against Fresno... going 2-for-5 with two home runs, two RBIs, walk and two strikeouts... Led Modesto with 55 stolen bases in 2022...had two games this season where he recorded three stolen bases and 11 games where he stole more than one base...Recorded two triples against San Bernadino going 3-for-5 with a double, two triples and an RBI...Had a 12-game hitting streak in the month of June... he batted .396 (21x53) with three doubles, two triples, three home runs, five RBIs and seven walks. Recorded a hit in 15 of 18 games that month...Recorded a four-RBI game against Stockton... went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBIs, two walks and two stolen bases...Played center field in 93 of his 107 games with Modesto... also made starts as the designated hitter and left fielder...Scored four runs against Stockon getting on base all of his four at bats... had a double, triple and two walks.

2021

Spent the season with the ACL Mariners, batting .245 (12x49) with a double, 2 home runs, 10 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 14 games.

2020

Did not appear due to the cancelation of the minor league season (COVID-19).

2019

Began his professional career with the DSL Mariners, batting .300 (67x223) with 12 doubles, 7 triples, 2 home runs, 22 RBI and 51 walks in 63 games.
