2023

Combined to make 24 appearances across three Minor League stops after signing with Kansas City as a free agent on 6/7...Averaged 14.5 strikeouts per 9.0 IP (59 SO/36.2 IP) and allowed just one home run (0.2 per 9.0 IP)...Began the season with the Arizona Complex League Royals, pitching in 12 games before being transferred to Class AA Northwest Arkansas on 8/9...Posted a 0.82 ERA (1 ER/11.0 IP) with four hits allowed in his final six games with the Naturals...Was assigned to Class AAA Omaha on 9/19, where he threw 3.1 scoreless IP in two outings.

2021

Returned to the mound in late August after spending most of the season rehabbing from right elbow surgery…retired all 6 batters faced via strikeout in the Arizona Complex League, then posted a 3.27 ERA (4 ER/11.0 IP) with 15.5 SO/9 spanning 11 appearances with Triple-A Round Rock, as opponents slashed .175/.267/.350/.617 with one HR at AAA…outing with ACL Rangers on 8/20 vs. ACL Royals (3 BF, 3 SO) was 1st game appearance since most recent MLB outing on 9/29/19 vs. HOU while with LAA…1st game with Round Rock was 8/27 at Albuquerque (0.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R)…final 9 G with the Express beg. 9/2: 0.93 ERA (1 ER/9.2 IP), 4 H, 2 BB, 16 SO.

2020

Sustained a strained left oblique muscle during the 1st week of spring training in mid-February and did not pitch in Cactus League games…recovered in time to participate in the start of Angels Summer Camp in July but injured his right elbow while pitching in a 7/10 intrasquad game…underwent ligament reconstruction surgery on 7/22 performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Arlington, TX…spent the remainder of the season on the Angels 60-day IL…was not tendered a 2021 contract offer by LAA on 12/2/20, making him a free agent.

2019

Made Angels Opening Day roster for first time in career... Earned wins in consecutive appearances for Angels on April 5 and April 7 vs. TEX... Converted only 9th inning save opportunity May 26 vs. Texas... Tallied 100th strikeout of career on June 8 vs. Seattle (Kyle Seager) in 9th inning... Led Angels with 37 inherited runners (21 stranded)…Stranded rate of 57% also led staff (min. 5 IR)… In 32 first half appearances, went 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA (32 IP - 12 ER) and 46 strikeouts... Missed 26 games on injured list with a right upper trap strain (did not have a minor league rehab stint)… Optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake April 8 and made three appearances for Bees before being recalled April 23 for remainder of season.
