Homered four times in a nine-game span from May 23-June 5... Placed on 10-day Injured List with a sports hernia on June 9...played in two games on rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul, going 2-for-7 with a walk but was shut back down and underwent surgery Aug. 10 to repair his sports hernia...
