Despite suffering a mid-season injury his senior year in 2021 at UC Santa Barbara, he was still named Second Team All-West Region and an All-Conference Honorable Mention, slashing .404/.492/.716 across 28 games...Played four varsity seasons at Carter High School in Rialto, Calif., where he hit .379 across four seasons, including over .400 in three of the four high school campaigns…was a four-time First Team All-League pick, set the school record for most career hits (153), won two league championships and was a two-time All-CIF selection…hit .579 with 23 RBI, 21 extra-base hits (five home runs), and a 1.616 OPS en route to League MVP honors his senior year...Son of Luz and Sergio...Roots for the Dallas Cowboys and whichever team Lebron James is on.

Played in 77 games for High-A Fort Wayne to begin his campaign, ranking second in the Midwest League in in HR (13), RBI (58) and hits (83) before he was promoted to Double-A San Antonio for the second half of the season...Hit safely in 14 of 20 games in April at a .271 clip (19-for-70) with three HR, including a seven-game hit streak from April 19-26… his season AVG sat at .309 before going 2-for-15 (.134) over his final four April games from April 27-30...Homered twice in his first six games in May from May 4-7 before going more than a full calendar month and 100 at-bats in between home runs from May 9-June 9, slashing .240/.282/.330 over that stretch...Posted two career-high four-hit games on June 17 at Dayton, and then in his final game of the first half and with the TinCaps on July 9 vs. Western Michigan...Earned Midwest League Player of the Week his final week with the TinCaps, hit safely in all seven games with three HR at a .464 clip (13-for-28) and led FW to a 6-1 record...Played primarily 3B for the TinCaps, making 71 appearances (70 starts) at the hot corner with a .951 fielding percentage (five errors in 123 total chances)….also made 4 starts as the DH and 2 at 2B...Promoted to San Antonio on July 14, where he hit .313 (31- for-99) across his first 25 career Double-A games from July 14-Aug. 12, including reaching base safely via a hit or a base on balls in 24 of the 25 games...Hit safely in 14 of his final regular season games from Aug. 30-Sept. 17, slashing .317/.388/.524 over that stretch, including a season-high eight-game hitting streak from Aug. 30-Sept. 17...While with SA, made 30 appearances (28 starts) at 2B and made just one error in 136 total chances…also made 22 appearances (21 starts) at 3B, posting a .895 fielding percentage (four errors in 38 chances)…made four starts as the DH...Following the season, was named an MiLB.com Organization All-Star for SD, and entered 2024 as the No. 22 ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline and No. 26 by Baseball America.
