Returned to action in America for the first time since 2014, having spent 2015 in Japan and 2016 in Mexico ... Played the entire season with the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves after signing with Atlanta in the off-season ... After spening the final two months of his 2008 season with Class A Savannah, returned to pitch the entire season with the club... served as the Sand Gnats closer, posting a 2-2 record with 22 saves (in 25 opps.) in 50 appearances...led all Mets minor leaguers and finished third in the South Atlantic League in saves

Combined to go 2-2 with a 4.73 ERA (21ER/40IP) in 21 appearances for short-season Class A Brooklyn (6g) and low Class A Savannah (15g)...pitched one month with Brooklyn before his promotion to Savannah on July 6.
