Signed with the Braves as an International free agent at 18 years old with his twin brother, Rolddy Mu?oz on June 11, 2018.

2023

Invited to his first Major League Spring Training as a part of the 40-man roster with Atlanta. Made one start with Double-A Mississippi to start the year, allowing three runs on three hits over 4.0 innings with four walks and three strikeouts. Moved to Triple-A Gwinnett in a relief role, where he went 1-2 with a 4.63 ERA (12 ER/23.1 IP) with 16 walks and 21 strikeouts. Had contract selected by Braves on June 6 but was optioned to FCL Braves before seeing game action. Allowed one run in 8.0 innings pitched over five relief appearances with 10 strikeouts. Returned to Triple-A Gwinnett for two relief appearances, allowing one run in 4.0 innings in two games before being designated for assignment. Was claimed by Washington on July 17 and spent remainder of the season with Triple-A Rochester. In 12 games (10 starts), went 1-3 with a 6.98 ERA (30 ER/38.2 IP) with 27 walks and 41 strikeouts.

2022

Combined to make 22 appearances between High-A Rome and Double-A Mississippi, going 8-4 with a 4.66 ERA (52 ER/100.1 IP) and 119 strikeouts...Opened the season with Rome and went 8-4 with a 4.03 ERA (40 ER/89.1 IP) over 19 starts until a promotion to Mississippi on Aug. 9...Over his final seven starts in Rome, from June 26 to Aug. 4, went 6-1 with a 1.67 ERA, allowing just seven earned runs over 37.2 innings…Struck out 49 in that span...In three starts with Mississippi, pitched to a 9.82 ERA (12 ER/11.0 IP)…Seven of the 12 earned runs came in just 1.0 inning in his debut with the club.
