Played for Triple-A Gwinnett and Tijuana of the independent Mexican League. Went 1-0 with a 1.17 ERA (2 ER/15.1 IP) in 16 appearances for Tijuana before signing with the Braves as a Minor-League free agent on July 6. In 21 appearances with the Stripers after signing, went 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA and one save … Allowed 26 hits and 12 runs over 22.0 innings, fanning 29.
