Posted a career-high 5.09 ERA while issuing 53 walks, his most in any season ... Did not win or lose more than two games in a row ... Pitched two scoreless outings in three starts on June 23 vs. Binghamton (7.0IP) and July 4 at Portland (6.0IP)...Allowed four runs over 6.0 innings on June 28 ... Tied a career high with 12 strikeouts on July 21 at Trenton (had 12-SO on June 16, 2016 for Advanced-A Dunedin).

Started with Lansing again in 2016...Allowed just four earned runs over his first five starts (21.1IP, 1.66 ERA) ... Spent time on the DL from April 30-May 9, 2016...Landed there again from Aug. 14 until the end of the season ... Struck out 10+ batters on three occasions in 2016, including a career-high 12-SO performance on June 16 at Clearwater (7.0 IP, 2H, 0R, 3BB) ... Was named a Minor-League Second-Team All-Star by Baseball America following the 2016 season.

Was assigned to Class-A Lansing to begin the 2015 season...Posted a 3.48 ERA in 15 starts before a promotion to Advanced-A Dunedin...Went 1-5 with a 5.23 ERA over eight starts for Dunedin before returning to Lansing for his final two starts of the year...Landed on the DL on Sept. 4 for the rest of the season.
