Full name is Sergio Armando Mitre (MEE-tray)...originally selected by Chicago-NL in the seventh round of the 2001 First-Year Player Draft...graduated from Montgomery High School (Calif.) in 1999...attended San Diego City College...he and his wife, Tonya, have one son, Sam.
