2022

Underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery in mid-July...Led Washington and ranked tied for eighth in the National League with a career-high 12 saves at the time of the injury...Did not allow a home run until June 4 at Cincinnati (17th app.)…Started the season strong, going 3-for-3 in save opportunities with a 0.00 ERA (8.0 IP), eight strikeouts, one walk and six hits allowed in his first eight games.

2021

Battled two stints on the Injured List in his third season in Washington... Recorded his first career save, June 9 at Tampa Bay...Returned from his second stint on July 29 and was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Aug. 1...Was called up as the 27th man on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12...Struck out 15 consecutive batters from Sept. 12 (with Rochester) to Sept. 20 at Miami...In five games after being recalled on Sept. 18, recorded two saves with a 1.93 ERA (1 ER/4.2 IP), one hit, two walks and eight strikeouts...Didn’t allow a hit in four games from Sept. 19-23....2021 Pitch Mix: 4-Seam (63.6%) Slider (36.4%).

2019

Began the season with Triple-A Fresno before being recalled to Washington on May 18 for the remainder of the season...Made his Nationals debut on May 20 vs. New York Mets... Earned his first MLB win on June 1 at Cincinnati...Despite not joining the club until May, his 74 strikeouts ranked second among Nationals relievers...Held opposing batters to a .188 average (32-for-170) and opposing right-handed batters to a .139 average (14-for-101)...Surrendered just four extra-base hits to right-handed batters (2B, 3B, 2 HR)...Became a reliable member of Washington's bullpen from Aug. 31 through the end of the season...Tossed scoreless relief in 12 of those 14 outings, including scoreless relief in his final eight outings of the season (7.1 IP, 2 BB, 13 SO, .125 opp. AVG)...In the Postseason, opposing batters hit .130 (3-for-23) with six strikeouts, five walks and one home run...Finished Game 3 of the NLCS.

2018

Went 7-2 with three saves and a 2.65 ERA in 44 games out of the bullpen for Triple-A Louisville...He struck out 65 batters, issued 35 walks and posted a .148 opponent batting average en route to being named an International League All-Star...Surrendered just seven extra-base hits (5 doubles, 2 home runs) across 51.0 Minor League innings...Among International League pitchers with at least 50.0 innings pitched, ranked 10th with 11.5 strikeouts per 9.0 innings...Was particularly tough against right-handed batters, posting a .138/.266/.165 opponent slash line...He struck out 48 batters, walked 18 and allowed just three extra-base hits (3 doubles) along the way...Had his contract selected on April 10 and made his Major League debut that day against the Philadelphia Phillies...He went on to make eight relief appearances across four stints with the Reds.
