Tim Dillard

Timothy Charles Dillard…he and his wife Erin have two sons, Brooks and Hayes, and a daughter, Camryn… his father, Steve, played in the majors with BOS (1975-77), DET (1978), CHC (1979-81) and CWS (1982) as an infielder… was primarily a catcher at Saltillo (MS) High School (graduated '01)…attended Itawamba Community College in Fulton, MS… was selected by Milwaukee as a catcher in the 15th round of the MLB 2001 draft, but did not sign…became a full-time pitcher after signing with the Brewers in 2002…enjoys doing impressions, including that of Harry Caray…creates unique content such as his Dubsmash videos - short-films involving his teammates lip-syncing everything from pop songs to movies to notorious commercials…joined the Brewers as a "surprise callup" in September of 2016 and assisted in hosting and social media efforts…also did some radio analysis of Brewers' spring training games in 2018…last September had involvement with the Rangers' social accounts, along with appearances on the big league club's game broadcasts and pre- and postgame shows.

Led PCL in innings (153.1) and ranked 6th among qualifiers with a 4.75 ERA…shared team Co-MVP honors with OF Zack Granite…led Sounds in wins (9) and quality starts (10), and ranked among staff leaders in SO (2nd, 103) and starts (T2nd, 21)…his 1.343 WHIP figure was lowest since 2014 (1.113 with Huntsville/Nashville)…led all Triple-A players with 20 hit batters, T2nd-most among all minor leaguers in '19… had 7.71 ERA (14 ER/16.1 IP) over 1st 7 G through 4/25, all in relief, then had 4.40 ERA (67 ER/137.0 IP) over final 26 G beg. 4/26…posted 9-inning CG on 8/2 vs. Albuquerque (9.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R-ER, 1 BB, 4 SO)…faced minimum 26 batters after allowing one-out HR in 1st inning…on temporary inactive list from 5/2-6 along with injured list stints for left wrist sprain (7/20-26) and left hand contusion (8/3-10).

2011

Split the season between Triple-A Nashville (17g) and Milwaukee (24g). ... Had three stints with the Brewers (5/14-7/1, 7/16-8/26 and 9/6-end of the season). ... Went 1-1 with a 4.08 ERA in 24 relief appearances with Milwaukee. ... Retired 15 of 24 first batters faced (62.5%). ... Stranded 8 of 11 inherited runners (72.7%). ... Earned his first Major League victory in the 6-5, 11-inning win on 6/5 at Florida as he stranded 3 inherited runners in the ninth inning and retired all 5 batters he faced (1.2ip). ... Went 4-2 with a 3.58 ERA and 1 save in 17 relief appearances at Nashville.

2010

Went 5-7 in 41 appearances for Triple-A Nashville, striking out 82 over 109.1 innings pitched.

2009

Led Triple-A Nashville in wins (11) and innings pitched (147.2).

2008

Pitched parts of 2008 and 2009 with Milwaukee, making his Major League debut on 5/23/08 at Washington.

2007

Went 8-4 with a 4.74 ERA in 34 games (16 starts) at Triple-A Nashville...Went 5-4 with a 4.52 ERA as a starter (93.2ip, 47er) and 3-0 with a 5.26 ERA in relief (39.1ip, 23er)...Made his first 14 appearances of the season as a starter...Following the season pitched for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League.

2006

Was a Southern League All-Star in 2006.....ranked among the leaders in innings pitched (4th, 163.0) and wins (T4th, 10).

2005

Was named Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2005...Was named to the Florida State League Postseason All-Star Team in 2005.....led the league in innings pitched (185.1) and complete games (5) and tied for the lead in shutouts (2) while ranking second in ERA (2.48) and tied for second in wins (12).
