Made first Opening Day roster with Braves and made season debut, April 11 in relief with 2.2 innings vs. Washington...Was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett following the outing and remained with Stripers until his May 17 recall...Made three additional starts for Braves before being optioned back to Gwinnett on May 29, where he¡¯d make his next 10 starts...While with Braves, held left-handers to a .120 (3/25) average...On Aug. 2, was traded by Atlanta with RHP Jesse Chavez to Angels in exchange for RHP Raisel Iglesias...Had 15 total starts for Gwinnett...Ranked fourth in International League in strikeouts (96) at time of the trade...Made Angels debut Aug. 7 at Seattle, which marked first appearance in the Majors since May 28 for Braves vs. Miami...Remained in Angels rotation for remainder of season, totaling eight starts...Earned first win in an Angels uniform Aug. 14 vs. Minnesota (W; 6.0 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO).

In 2019, named a Baseball America Double-A All-Star, a Southern League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star...Made 25 starts between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett and combined to go 8-7 with a 2.15 ERA (31 ER/129.2 IP)¡Struck out 134...His 2.15 ERA was lowest among Atlanta farmhands to make at least 15 starts, and he ranked third in strikeouts, tied for fifth in wins, and eighth innings...Allowed two earned runs or fewer in 20 of his 25 starts on the season¡Allowed more than three runs just once.
2018
Spent the full season with Florida (High-A), and went 7-10 with a 4.18 ERA (55 ER/118.1 IP) in 24 starts...Went 6-6 with a 2.99 ERA over his final 17 starts, after opening the season 1-4 with an 8.04 ERA in his first seven turns...Named by the Braves as Florida's Pitcher of the Month for May after a perfect 3-0 record and a 3.22 ERA over four starts.
2017
Played his first full pro season with Single-A Rome, and went 5-4 with a 2.60 ERA (30 ER/103.2 IP) and 101 strikeouts in 31 games (12 starts)...His 2.60 ERA tied for the second-best mark among Atlanta's starting pitcher prospects (min. 75.0 IP).
