Made Washington’s Opening Day roster... Started strong, posting a 1.64 ERA (2 ER/11.0 IP) with 14 strikeouts and two doubles in his first 11 appearances...Endured two stints on the Injured List (6/6, left knee inflammation and 9/4, strained right shoulder).

2021

Went 1-2 with a 2.50 ERA in 32 games for Triple-A Gwinnett in Atlanta’s Minor League system.

2020

Spent the entire season at the Phillies’ alternate training site...Made one relief appearance during the spring, allowing no runs in 1.0 innings. 

2019

Began season with Lehigh Valley (AAA) and was recalled on 4/12 after allowing one base runner in 4.0 scoreless, hitless IP...Struck out all six batters he faced on 4/14 at MIA, becoming just the second Phillies reliever since 1900 to accomplish that feat (other: Willie Hernandez, 7/3/83 vs NYM)...Those six strikeouts doubled his previous career high...Was placed on the 10-day IL on 4/20 (retro to 4/19) with right elbow inflammation and was transferred to the 60-day IL on 6/4, missing the remainder of the season

2018

Made his first career Opening Day roster...Retired each of the first 25 batters he faced and 32 consecutive batters dating back to 2017, most by a Phillie since Rick Wise retired 32 straight on 9/18/71...Did not allow a run in his first 10.1 IP...Was on the 10-day DL, 4/29-5/18, with a right rotator cuff strain; included rehab assignments to Reading (AA), 5/14-16, and Lehigh Valley (AAA), 5/17-18...Allowed his first career HR on 6/8 after not allowing one in his first 29.0 IP...Recorded his first career save on 7/4 vs BAL...Had a 0.78 ERA (2 ER, 23.0 IP) in 22 appearances, 6/26-8/16...Had an 11.2-inning scoreless streak (10 G), 7/20-8/16...Held RHH to a .207/.248/.319 slash line

2017

Was a non-roster invitee to ML spring training...Began the season on the 7-day DL (right elbow sprain)...Made his season debut for Reading (AA) on 5/31...Pitched at least 2.0 innings in 8 of his 32 appearances for Reading and posted a 1.69 ERA (3 ER, 16.0 IP) in those games...Averaged 8.85 SO/9.0 IP (38 SO, 38.2 IP) in his 32 double-A appearances...Never walked more than 1 batter in any minor league appearance...Had his contract selected on 9/12 and made his ML debut that night vs MIA (0.2 IP)...Earned his first ML win, 9/16 vs OAK...Held opponents to a .158 AVG (6-38) with the Phillies...All 10 ML appearances came in home games.

Began the season with Clearwater (A)...Ranked 1st among Florida State League relievers in fewest base runners/9.0 IP (9.71), 2nd in BB/9.0 IP (2.14) and 3rd in SO/9.0 IP (10.14)...Posted a 0.96 ERA (3 ER, 28.0 IP) in 16 games from 6/21 until his promotion to Reading (AA) on 8/2...Pitched at least 2.0 innings in 28 of his 46 minor league relief appearances...Averaged a combined 10.73 SO/9.0 IP and held opponents to a .213 AVG (63-296)...Pitched in 8 games for Scottsdale in the Arizona Fall League (0-0, 2.79 ERA, 9.2 IP, 5 H, 6 BB, 9 SO)...Also made 6 appearances for Obregon in the Mexican Winter League (1-0, 4.76 ERA, 5.2 IP, 5 H, 5 SO)
