Played the majority of the campaign with Double-A New Hampshire before suiting up for one game with Triple-A Buffalo¡combined for a 4-7 record and a 4.14 ERA in 20 games, including 18 starts¡was named an Eastern League Midseason All-Star with the Fisher Cats.

Split his season between Single-A Lansing and Dunedin, going 12-4 with a 3.15 ERA in 27 games, including 25 starts¡was named an MiLB.com Organizational All-Star after the season.

Starrted his first professional season with the Blue Jays rookie ball squad in Bluefield before earning a mid-season promotion to Short-A Vancouver¡went 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in two games, one start, for the Canadians during the postseason (7.0 ip, 4 h, 1 r, 1 er, 2 bb, 8 so, 1 hr).
