As part of the coverage, former teammates and peers will reflect on the class of 2020 and the Hall of Famers who have recently passed in eight new features, including:
- Harold Reynolds sits down with Jeter for an exclusive new interview to discuss his 23 years in the New York Yankees organization and his legacy in the game;

- Four-time All-Star Dante Bichette on Walker not taking himself too seriously while being amongst the greatest players Bichette has ever seen;
- St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Keith Hernandez on how Simmons¡¯ longevity and durability behind the plate led to a 21-year Hall of Fame career;
- Hall of Famer Johnny Bench narrates a tribute to the 10 Hall of Famers who passed away since the last Induction Ceremony, speaking of the indelible marks his friends, teammates, peers and idols made on baseball;
- Six-time All-Star and Canadian Joey Votto voices a tribute written by MLB Network host and Canadian Adnan Virk on Walker¡¯s Hall of Fame career and legacy in Canada;?
- Jon Paul Morosi writes and narrates an essay on how Simmons used his work ethic and smarts to excel as a college student, Army Reservist, baseball player, husband and father, eventually leading to his enshrinement in Cooperstown;
Leading up to the ceremony, MLB Tonight will re-air two vignettes from its 2020 Hall of Fame Election Day coverage, including a Verducci-written piece that was voiced by Hall of Fame shortstops Barry Larkin, Cal Ripken Jr. and Ozzie Smith on Jeter¡¯s iconic career as the shortstop of the Yankees; and Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre, former manager and teammate Joe Girardi and former teammate Don Mattingly opening up about the impact Jeter made on their own careers, as at least one of the three men were part of every game Jeter played. This past Saturday, MLB Network¡¯s Hall of Fame edition of its kids-focused program Play Ball presented by Nike featured two fully-animated segments, including Harold Reynolds providing a tour of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and Jeter providing advice to young players by reliving his own journey to the Major Leagues. Hosted by MLB Network¡¯s Brian Kenny, the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be simulcast on MLB.com and available via the MLB app.
