¨C To lead off Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, the Atlanta Braves will host their annual AANHPI Night on Friday, May 2, as the team takes on the Los Angeles Dodgers at Truist Park. Braves Country is made up of vibrant AANHPI communities, and the Braves are excited to celebrate and honor their cultures and impact on and off the field through cultural performances, educational experiences, highlighting AANHPI leaders in the community, and more.
Fans are invited to arrive early to The Battery Atlanta before gates open to enjoy special cultural performances from the Hong Hing Lion Dance Team and the Mahealani Polynesian Entertainment Group on the Plaza Green near the Georgia Power Pavilion. Fans can also indulge in delicious AANHPI food from the ¡®Asian Street Eats¡¯ food truck located outside of Right Field Gate. The menu highlights a variety of cultural cuisines, such as Beef Bulgogi Bao, Pork Dumplings, Hawaiian Hot Honey Ginger Sticky Wings, and more.
The Braves will continue the celebration on-field pre-game, including highlighting AANHPI leaders from the community for the night¡¯s first pitch and play ball opportunity.
