LOS ANGELE**S ¨C** The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Tanner Scott on a four-year deal for $72 million.
Scott, 30, stays in the National League West division after spending the end of the 2024 season with the Padres. The All-Star went 9-6 with a 1.75 ERA and 22 saves. He started the campaign with Miami, going 6-5 with a 1.18 ERA and 18 saves before being traded to San Diego on July 30. He would add three wins and four saves in 28 games with the Padres. The southpaw has been in the Major Leagues eight seasons with Baltimore (2017-21), Miami (2022-24)
and San Diego (2024), going a combined 31-24 with a 3.56 ERA. He has 55 career saves and 468 strikeouts in 368.2 innings. He was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the sixth round of the 2014 First Year Player Draft out of Howard College.
The Dodgers will have an introductory press conference for Scott at 12:00 p.m. in the Stadium Club at Dodger Stadium.
