FLUSHING, N.Y., March 5, 2025 ¨C The New York Mets announced today they will open their first ever pop-up experience ¨C Mets House NYC ¨C on Friday, March 7 located in Union Square in New York City. Just in time for the 2025 season, this new and exciting multipurpose space will give Mets fans an exclusive opportunity to engage with their favorite team outside of the ballpark.
Mets House will feature themed activities, exclusive merchandise, ongoing surprise experiences, including giveaways and special gifts with purchase, and other interactive elements, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere for all who visit. Mets fans can also enjoy exclusive, in-store only deals on Mets regular season tickets, including no fees on all tickets purchased at Mets House.

Located at 1 Union Square West, opposite the southwest corner of Union Square Park, Mets House will be open Tuesdays through Sundays starting Friday, March 7. The House will be closed on Mondays. Below are the store hours:
- Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 11 a.m. ¨C 6 p.m.
- Thursday and Friday: 11 a.m. ¨C 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. ¨C 8 p.m.
GRAND OPENING WEEKEND DETAILS:
During Mets House Opening Weekend, the first 50 people in the store on Friday, March 7, Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9 will receive one voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select 2025 Mets home game. All visitors will have access to in-store only ticket deals, including no fees and BOGO deals, throughout the weekend.
Friday, March 7:
The grand opening of Mets House will take place Friday, March 7 at 11 a.m., where fans will have a chance to meet Mets alumni Dwight ¡°Doc¡± Gooden and Todd Zeile. Fans can also enjoy appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Met, listen to a live recording of SNY¡¯s podcast ¡®Mets Pod¡¯, and enjoy a live art experience from Juicebox, where fans will have a chance to have their portraits drawn on a baseball throughout the afternoon.
Saturday, March 8:
The fun at Mets House will continue on Saturday with a live DJ, appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Met and a recording of the Mets official podcast ¡®Meet at the Apple¡¯. Fans can also enjoy a live art experience from Juicebox, where fans will have a chance to have their portraits drawn on a baseball throughout the afternoon. Shoppers will receive a treat from Baked By Melissa with purchase while supplies last.
Sunday, March 9:
Wrapping up Opening Weekend, Mets House will host Kids Sunday, where the first 300 Kids Club members will receive a free Pop-It. Kids will also get to enjoy an appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Met and have a chance to get their faces painted to show off their Mets spirit.

METS HOUSE ONGOING PROGRAMMING:
Each week, Mets House will feature unique experiences, including guest appearances from alumni and other special guests, themed activities, and surprises such as giveaways, trivia and exclusive merchandise. Some of the activations include:
Family Sundays: To mirror Family Sundays offered at Citi Field, the Mets will bring family-focused activities to Mets House. Kids can show off their Mets pride with face painting or temporary tattoos featuring team logos. Family Sundays will also have a craft corner for kids, featuring a special rotating craft opportunity.
Gaming Wall: Fans can show off their gaming skills and play MLB the Show with their fellow Mets fans at the Gaming Wall.
Mets Match Your Swing Experience: Mets fans can step up to the plate to compare batting swings and stances to their favorite Mets player at the Mets Match Your Swing experience.
Memorabilia: Mets fans can get up close to exclusive and rare collectibles and memorabilia and can bid on some of the auction items, with winning bids supporting the Amazin¡¯ Mets Foundation.
