LOS ANGELES ¨C The Los Angeles Dodgers have created an official display of memorabilia from Shohei Ohtani¡¯s legendary 50/50 season in the window case of the Club Level at the Dodger Stadium lobby on the left-field side of Dodger Stadium. The celebration of Ohtani¡¯s unprecedented achievement will be featured on official Dodger Stadium Tours that are available on a near-daily basis at the ballpark.
Ohtani won his third unanimous MVP award in 2024, an honor highlighted by his becoming the first player to hit at least 50 home runs (54) and steal at least 50 bases (59) in a single MLB season. Ohtani reached the feat with his typical flair on September 19, stealing his 50th and 51st bases and hitting his 49th, 50th and 51st home runs, as part of a 6-for-6, 10-RBI day with 17 total bases that many called the greatest single-game performance in baseball history.
The Dodger Stadium display features a window case with several official items from both the milestone game, including his game-worn jersey and cleats, the bat with which he hit his 50th home run, the game lineup card and the base from his 50th steal, flanked by other significant bases from the 2024 season.
Dodger Stadium Tours provide fans with the opportunity to see the ballpark in unique fashion. This behind-the-scenes tour of approximately 45 minutes lets participants visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas and view the stadium from a whole new perspective. Tours include photo ops with official World Series, MVP and Cy Young trophies, as well as game-used memorabilia. Depending on the time and day, tours also feature early entry into the stadium to watch Dodger batting practice and/or warm-up exercises. As baseball's third-oldest ballpark, Dodger Stadium remains one of the game's most beautiful and most historic venues. More information can be found at dodgers.com/tours.
The Dodgers will commemorate Ohtani¡¯s 2024 season throughout the 2025 campaign, next with a 50/50 bobblehead giveaway when the Dodgers play the Athletics on May 15. Tickets are available at dodgers.com/tickets.
