Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola announces new charity poker tournament to benefit Team Red, White & Blue on May 15 at Citizens Bank Park
Special charity event, held in partnership with Yuengling and the Phillies, gives attendees the unique chance to play poker alongside Nola, his teammates and other celebrities to support the health and wellness of America¡¯s veterans
Pitcher Aaron Nola, a long-time supporter of our nation¡¯s veterans, announced during spring training that he will be hosting a new charity poker tournament on May 15, 5:30 ¨C 11:00 p.m., in the CP Rankin Club at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies, to benefit Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB).
The charity event, held in partnership with Yuengling and the Phillies, features a special opportunity to play poker alongside Nola, his teammates, coaches and other legendary athletes, with the goal of raising money to support the health and wellness of America¡¯s veterans.
In addition to playing poker, attendees at Aaron Nola¡¯s Charity Tournament presented by Yuengling will have the chance to enjoy cocktails, local bites, prizes, ballpark tours, on-field photo opportunities and more. There will also be special appearances by the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls, and broadcaster Tom McCarthy will emcee the program portion of the event.

To date, Nola¡¯s commitment to Team RWB and the veteran community has raised more than $131,000 for the cause, with past efforts including charitable events such as bowling tournaments. Nola has also supported the cause by making donations for every strikeout he made during the 2023 and 2024 season, ultimately throwing 399 strikeouts and generating $419,351.
