San Diego Padres Release 2025 Schedule
Padres to host weekend series against three Interleague teams including the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox
The San Diego Padres released their schedule for the 2025 regular season today featuring three weekend series at Petco Park against notable American League opponents, including the Seattle Mariners, the Texas Rangers, and the Boston Red Sox.
The Padres will kick off the season at home with a four-game Opening Series presented by Sycuan Casino Resort against the Atlanta Braves beginning on Opening Day, Thursday, March 27. Dating back to 2010, this will be just the fourth instance in the last 15 years that the Padres will open their season against an opponent outside of the National League West division (also: 2022 vs. Atlanta, 2018 vs. Milwaukee Brewers and 2010 vs. Atlanta). The opening homestand will conclude with a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians from March 31-April 2.
Home weekends for the Padres in 2025 are highlighted by series against divisional opponents, including two weekend tilts against the Colorado Rockies, one weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers and one weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Braves, Tampa Bay Rays, Mariners, Pittsburgh Pirates, Kansas City Royals, Rangers, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals and Red Sox also pay weekend visits to Petco Park. The Padres will host the Miami Marlins on Memorial Day (May 27), the Rangers on Independence Day (July 4), and the Baltimore Orioles on Labor Day (September 1).
