CASE Study Program ¨C Detroit Chapter

The CASE (Careers As Sports Executives) Study Program is a free sports executive study program for high school students who are interested in sports ¨C and perhaps careers in sports ¨C but who would not otherwise have the opportunity to get the training, experience and tutelage to pursue entry-level jobs in the industry. The program aims to foster personal and professional development by offering training, experience, and guidance for students interested in pursuing entry-level jobs in sports.

To support the educational well-being of children served by Detroit¡¯s The Children¡¯s Center, the organization provides 1,500 backpacks each year stuffed with school supplies. Presented by Meijer and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, The Children¡¯s Center Back to School Backpack Bazaar took place throughout the summer, culminating in over 259 families served by The Children¡¯s Center attending the Tigers game on September 11 to see the team take on the Colorado Rockies.
