Twins Reinstate Kody Funderburk From 60-day Injured List
Jair Camargo optioned, Max Kepler transferred to 60-day IL
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN ¨C The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated left-handed pitcher Kody Funderburk from the 60-day Injured List.
Funderburk, who was placed on the 15-day Injured List on July 21 with a left oblique strain and transferred to the 60-day IL on September 5, appeared in four games on rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul from September 10-20. Prior to landing on the Injured List, he appeared in 26 games for the Twins, going 1-0 with a 5.61 ERA (33.2 IP, 21 ER), one save, 15 walks and 31 strikeouts.
To make room on the 28-man roster, the Twins have optioned catcher Jair Camargo. Camargo, who was recalled yesterday, did not appear in last nightĄ¯s game against the Miami Marlins.
To make room on the 40-man roster, the Twins have transferred outfielder Max Kepler (left patellar tendinitis) to the 60-day IL.
