Padres announce 2025 spring broadcast schedule
SAN DIEGO ¨C The San Diego Padres today announced their broadcast schedule for 2025 Spring Training presented by Southwest Airlines, featuring 30 preseason games that will be available to fans via television, radio or webcast.
Padres.TV will be available as part of a free preview for all televised spring training games. During the 2025 regular season, Padres.TV will cost $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the full season. For fans watching through their local cable provider or video distributor, channel locations can be found at Padres.com/ChannelFinder.
Fans will be able to enjoy 30 games this spring on various electronic media, including a PadresĄ¯ Spring Training record 20 live broadcasts on Padres.TV and local linear providers, including two pass through broadcasts (from Colorado and San Francisco). The first Spring Training live broadcast is scheduled for Friday, February 21, when the Padres take on the Seattle Mariners as the home team in an exhibition game at the Peoria Sports Complex.
Padres play-by-play broadcaster Don Orsillo returns to the booth for two Spring telecasts, with former Padre Mark Grant in the analyst seat. Former MLB pitcher Bob Scanlan will once again provide analysis and reports as part of the broadcast team alongside sideline reporter and host Mariluz Cook. All other TV broadcasts will include the simulcast audio call from Jesse Agler and Tony Gwynn Jr.
Complementing Spring Training telecasts, Padres radio broadcasts will continue to be aired on 97.3 The Fan in 2025 and will also be streamed through the Audacy app. The clubĄ¯s English flagship station will broadcast at least 16 preseason games this year, including the prospect game against the Athletics on March 14 followed by a nightcap versus the Texas Rangers at the Peoria Sports Complex. The first Spring radio broadcast will take place on Friday, February 21 and conclude on Sunday, March 23. Jesse Agler will provide the play-by-play with Tony Gwynn Jr. providing color commentary and analysis.
The Padres will provide an audio webcast available on www.padres.com for eight road games, including contests against the Chicago White Sox (February 26), Athletics (February 27), Rangers (March 6), Milwaukee Brewers (March 7), Colorado Rockies (March 12), Kansas City Royals (March 13), Chicago Cubs (March 21) and Mariners (March 24).
