Uzma Rawn Dowler is Major League Baseball's Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships. She leads MLB's global marketing efforts, partnering with league executives across all operations, revenue and technology departments and the 30 MLB Clubs to help present Baseball to its fans, grow the sport, and reach new audiences, while also overseeing the team responsible for securing, renewing and managing sponsorship agreements with Official League Partners around the world.
Rawn brings nearly 20 years of experience working hand-in-hand with Fortune 500 companies and sports teams to achieve their marketing goals. During her time at MLB, Rawn has been instrumental in securing high-level sponsorship agreements with YouTube TV (first presenting sponsor of the World Series), Strauss as the first-ever Postseason Helmet Decal Partner, Google/Google Cloud, MGM, Adobe and loanDepot.
Rawn came to MLB from Premier Partnerships where she led Premier's New York office and was responsible for new business development and growth of Premier's east coast operations; as well as furthering Premier in its sponsorship sales efforts with sports and entertainment properties.
Prior to joining Premier in 2010, Rawn worked at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in their Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) group. In TMBO, Rawn was focused on team sponsorship development efforts and her responsibilities included advising teams within the NBA, WNBA and NBA D-League on sponsorship sales strategy and activation best practice initiatives to drive growth and team sponsorship revenues.
In 2020 and 2024, Sports Business Journal named Rawn to its prestigious Forty Under 40 classes. In 2015, Forbes named Rawn to the magazine's 30 Under 30 list in Sports. Rawn was also recognized by SportsPro in 2013 as one of the ten young sports executives nominated into their 10 NEXT Class of 2013.
A graduate of Ithaca College with a degree in Sport Management, she resides in New York with her husband and three young children.
