2022

Made 16 appearances with Washington, including three starts, going 2-2 with a 5.13 ERA (26.1 IP, 15 ER), 11 walks and 12 strikeouts...Did not make the Nationals Opening Day roster but was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on April 11...was with the team until going on the 15-day injured list on June 3 with a left shoulder impingement...reinstated to the injured list and optioned to Rochester on July 22...Made three starts to begin the season before moving to the bullpen...went 1-2 with a 5.14 ERA (14.0 IP, 8 ER) as a starter and 1-0 with a 5.11 ERA (12.1 IP, 7 ER) in relief...Designated for assignment by Washington on Aug. 5 and elected free agency...signed by Miami as a Minor League free agent, Aug. 10...Made 15 total Minor League starts, going 5-9 with a 6.50 ERA (72.0 IP, 52 ER), 28 walks and 50 strikeouts...made nine starts with Triple-A Jacksonville after being acquired by Miami and went 4-4 with a 4.75 ERA (47.1 IP 25 ER), 21 walks and 32 strikeouts.

Had his contract selected on Sept. 4 and earned the win in his start against the Mets (5.2 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 5 SO)…Allowed three earned runs or less in five of his six starts...Pitched to a 2.16 ERA (6 ER/25.0 IP) in his first four starts with the Nationals...Tossed a career-high 7.2 innings on Sept. 21 at Miami (7.2 IP, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO)…Went 7-3 with a 3.70 ERA in 14 games (13 starts) with Triple-A Rochester...He combined to toss 10.2 scoreless innings across his last two starts, Aug. 24 at Syracuse (5.2 IP, 4 H, 6 SO) and Aug. 29 at Syracuse (5.0 IP, 7 H, 2 BB, 3 SO) before joining the Nationals...Opened the season with Triple-A Norfolk in Baltimore’s system before being released and signing with the Nationals on June 4...2021 Pitch Mix: 4-Seam Fastball (51.4%) Slider (35.5%) Changeup (12.9%) Curveball (0.2%).

Made five appearances for the Orioles, going 0-1 with a 8.79 ERA (14 ER/14.1 IP)...Started for Norfolk on Opening Day (4/4 at Gwinnett), his first career Opening Day start...Placed on the Injured List on 6/26 and underwent “Tommy John” surgery on 7/3; the second time in his life having the surgery (2013).

Made his Major League debut on 8/28 vs. TOR and earned the win; tossed 5.0 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, one home run, with one walk and two strikeouts; struck out Kevin Pillar in the top of the second inning for his first strikeout...Became the first left-hander to start for the Orioles in 2018, snapping a streak of 134-straight games started by a right-hander since LHP Wade Miley made the start on 9/29/17 at TB ...Went a combined 8-9 with a 3.54 ERA (55 ER/139.2 IP) and 101 strikeouts in 24 starts between Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Triple-A Norfolk...His 24 starts were tied for third-most in the International League at the time of his promotion; also ranked fourth in innings pitched and ninth in ERA...Had six different starts (4/23 vs. Columbus, 5/11 vs. Rochester, 5/29 at Louisville, 6/15 at Syracuse, 7/28 vs. Toledo, and 8/8 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre) in which he tossed at least 7.0 shutout innings...Tossed 13 Quality Starts between Norfolk (3) and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (10)...Worked at least 6.0 innings in 15 of his 24 Triple-A outings...Struck out a career-high 10 batters on 4/12 at Charlotte
