GM with BAL)..Signed at 17 to play pro ball, Don worked in baseball for 65 years...Father, Jeff Pries, played at UCLA and was a first-round pick of the Yankees in 1984...Micah¡¯s brother, Jake, also played baseball at UCLA and played in the Yankees¡¯ system...Micah and Jake also played at Junipero Serra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif...Played three seasons at Point Loma Nazarene University (Calif.), junior before season was cut short due to reconstructive right elbow surgery...Drove in 128 runs in 152 career games at Nazarene...Enjoys surfing, golf, pickleball, favorite musical group is the Zac Brown Band...Big fan of the Lakers, Angels and Chargers growing up, favorite players were LaDainian Tomlinson and Kobe Bryant...Enjoys watching Freddie Freeman hit.
2024
Limited to 68 games at AAA Columbus, missing seven weeks from July 13-Aug. 31 with a left oblique strain... Appeared in 12 games in Major League Spring Training camp as a spring invitee...On the year he made 33 starts at first base, 19 starts in LF and two starts in RF (12 GS DH).
2023
Spent the entire 2023 season with AAA Columbus...Finished the season T-4th in the PD system in extra-base hits (45) and T5th in home runs (14)¡At the end of the 2023, his 32 home runs since the start of 2022 rank third in the CLE system...Started 85 games at first base and 17 games at left field for the Clippers...Enjoyed a 20-game on-base streak from June 24-July 21...Homered twice in back-to-back games on July 3-4, driving in eight total runs...Finished one hit shy of the cycle three separate times...Bothered by right elbow and quad soreness to end season that limited him to just one game in September.
2022
Spent entire season at AA Akron, leading the club in homers and RBI on his way to organizational All-Star honors (MiLB. com)¡ Finished third in the system in doubles (29) and was sixth in HR (18), OPS (.814) and RBI (73)... Enjoyed a 20-game on-base streak from July 17-Aug. 13 and a 14-game hit streak, June 21-July 8¡Was named Eastern League player of the month for June after batting .312 (29-for-93) with six 2B, nine HR and 25 RBI in 25 games and earned consecutive player of the week honors at the end of the month¡Homered in the final four games of the month (6/26-30)... Hit .305 (25/54) off LHP¡On the year made 92 starts at first base, 12 in LF and 18 at DH.
2021
First pro season began in Single-A Lynchburg after the canceled 2020 season and 2019 right elbow surgery...Hit a combined .296 (75-for-253) with 13 2B, 12HR, 40 RBI in 72 games at Lynchburg, the ACL & LC...Missed a month in June/July due to a left hamstring strain.
