Program Summary
The Southwest Florida Grant Program provides grants to nonprofit organizations in Lee and Collier Counties that assist underserved families, helping them expand their services to meet the needs of more community members across Southwest Florida.
The Twins Community Fund and all of its programs are supported in part by its Cornerstone Partners¡ªTarget, U.S. Bank, Treasure Island Resort & Casino, and Nike¡ªand fans across Twins Territory.
Administration
The Southwest Florida Community Grant will be administered by the staff of the Twins Community Fund in Minneapolis, as well as the Twins Florida Operations staff in Lee County, Florida.
Grant Size/Purpose
A competitive grant of up to $5,000 is available to Southwest Florida nonprofit organizations seeking to expand their services to reach more people in need. Dollars should be used in some way that seeks to expand the number of people the organization serves.
Eligibility
Applications are open to any independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Lee and Collier Counties that assists underserved families.
Organizations must also be governed by active boards and have sufficient revenue.
Application Process/Schedule
Organizations must complete a web application and submit other required documents.
Applications will be reviewed and recommended by staff in Lee County and Minneapolis. Final grant determinations will be made by the Twins Community Fund Board of Directors. Applicants may not receive all the money requested in their application.
