In the third inning of the Dodgers' 4-1 win over the Cubs in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series presented by Camping World on Sunday, Los Angeles was attempting a rally. With runners on first and second and two outs, left fielder Kiké Hernández was at the plate.
Hernandez staged a lengthy at-bat with Cubs left-hander Jon Lester, eventually drawing a walk to load the bases on -- er, at least he thought he'd worked a walk.
Problem was, the count was 2-2, not 3-2. Hernandez basically trotted down to first base, only to have home-plate umpire Todd Tichenor remind him of the situation with some emphatic hand gestures:

With the Dodgers staked to a 2-0 series lead, the NLCS now shifts to Chicago. Tune in to Game 3, Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET/8 CT/6 PT on TBS.
