NEW YORK ¨C Watching Juan Soto and Pete Alonso go yard on a regular basis isn¡¯t the only thing to look forward to at Citi Field this season.
In the stands, the Mets are making sure their fans watch their championship-caliber team at a reasonable price. How does this sound: A total of 45 home games at Citi Field currently have tickets available at or below $10.
¡°I¡¯m excited about what we have for the fans,¡± said Samantha Engelhardt, the team¡¯s chief operating officer. ¡°Most importantly, for us as an organization, we want to make sure that Mets games are accessible and affordable to fans young and old, new and existing. We want everyone to come out to Citi Field and experience Mets baseball. We have done a lot of different things to make [the ballpark] a destination all fans can really come to.¡±
There are plenty of ways to experience Mets baseball in ¡®25. The Mets will introduce Family Sundays. For all Sunday home day games during the regular season, except holiday weekends ¨C May 25 and July 6 ¨C the Mets will offer four tickets starting at $50, with pregame entertainment on Mets Plaza and family-focused activities throughout the ballpark.
For all Tuesday home games during the regular season, a value menu featuring food and beverage items priced at $5 each will be made available around the ballpark. The $5 Tuesdays menu items will include 12 oz. Coors Light, 22 oz. Coca-Cola fountain sodas, 20 oz. Smartwater, Nathan¡¯s Famous hot dog (Kosher, gluten-free and veggie hot dogs are available), regular soft pretzel and popcorn box. Offer is subject to availability, valid at select locations and not available for vending and mobile ordering.
The Mets have kids in mind throughout the season. They will introduce a kids meal and a free version of the Mets Kids Club, which is presented by Dunkin¡¯.
The meal is for kids 12 and under, which includes a kids-size order of chicken tenders and fries served in a souvenir Mets helmet with a Minute Maid Apple Juice for $9.89. The new kids meal will be available every home game at select concession stands.
The Mets Kids Club will be accessible to all young fans. Additionally, prices of paid Kids Club Exclusive Packages have been lowered in 2025. Perks for the paid Kids Club Exclusive Packages include a welcome kit with exclusive Kids Club merch, a fast pass for the Mr. and Mrs. Met Dash and two ticket vouchers redeemable for select games.
Following select Sunday games, including April 20, May 11, June 1, July 20, Aug. 3, Aug. 31 and Sept. 21, all Kids Club members ages 12 and under are invited to run the bases postgame (weather permitting) in the Mr. and Mrs. Met Dash. Don¡¯t forget the block parties that will be featured at every Saturday home game. ¡°We are introducing a number of things in what we call our weekly calendar which will include the Saturday block parties. Those will be great,¡± Engelhardt said. ¡°¡ So when the fans get here, Citi Field will be open, it¡¯s welcoming and it¡¯s a really great way to start a Saturday game.¡±
You can¡¯t have a season without giveaways. The Mets are having 18 of them, from Soto¡¯s replica jersey on July 3 to Francisco Lindor bobblehead day on Aug. 30. The team will also have eight Fireworks Nights, which will occur every Friday home game from May 23-Aug. 29 (note: July 4 Fireworks will shift to July 3 due to the holiday day game).
¡°We have so much going on this year to make it really exciting for people to come out to Citi Field,¡± Engelhardt said. ¡°It¡¯s not just about coming to a ballpark and seeing a Mets game, which is great within itself based on our lineup and everything we do from an in-game entertainment perspective, but from a Friday night fireworks, Saturday block party, Family Sunday -- we have a lot going on this year that will make it really exciting for people to come out to Citi Field.¡±
