What's new and what returns to Camden Yards in 2025??

BALTIMORE -- The construction on the modified, shorter left-field wall at Camden Yards is complete. The big winners will be the hitters -- both on the Orioles and other teams -- who will hit home runs that wouldn’t have gone out over the past three seasons.

They’re not the only winners, though. The youngest fans in attendance will be, too.

On Tuesday, O’s president of business operations, Catie Griggs, announced the implementation of a “home run porch” that has already been built in front of Sections 78, 80 and 82 in between the new wall and previous wall that stood in left field at the ballpark. It’s a raised platform with two entrances standing to the left of Mr. Splash’s platform for the “Bird Bath” splash zone in Sections 84 and 86.

The home run porch will be open to fans 12 and under -- accompanied by parents -- who are seated in either Section 78, 80 or 82 for a game. They’ll be allowed to come down and get a closer view of the action. Maybe they’ll even come back with a home run ball.

“We think it’s a really unique opportunity to welcome kids 12 and under closer to the field -- escorted by parents -- where they can have the opportunity to really feel part of the game in a way that’s pretty unique to this ballpark,” Griggs said on Tuesday. “We really wanted to prioritize creating access for those kids."

As previously announced, the “Bird Bath” has been expanded to Sections 84 and 86. So, there will be quite a bit going on in the lower-reserve seats in the left-field area in 2025.

The Orioles open their home slate on Monday, hosting the Red Sox at 3:05 p.m. ET.

Live Hot Dog Races

The O’s introduced the Berks Hot Dog Race in 2024, bringing the popular event to life via the Camden Franks mascots. It will return in ‘25, beginning with Monday’s home opener.

Orange Out Saturdays

Every Saturday home game during the 2025 season will be an “Orange Out Saturday.” Fans will be encouraged to don orange, but they can also visit the Orange Store located by Section 82, which will sell plenty of orange merchandise.

Brick & Whistle and other food/beverage partners will offer orange-themed items on these days, including orange crushes, orange chicken and orange sweet treats.

The first “Orange Out Saturday” will be April 12 vs. the Blue Jays (4:05 p.m. ET), which will also bring the return of the Orioles’ orange-on-orange uniform combo. The first 15,000 fans will receive a Cedric Mullins T-shirt.

According to chief marketing officer Mark Fine, the Orioles will wear the all-orange uniform combo about five or six times this season.

Brick & Whistle food items

Here are some new food and beverage offerings for 2025:

• Birdland Value Menu (more info available at Orioles.com/ValueMenu)
• The Warehouse Burger: a double cheeseburger topped with queso fundido, fried onions, homemade pickle de gallo and Whistle Sauce, served on a pretzel bun (Bleacher Grill, Section 90)

• The Chessie: a footlong Chesapeake-spiced sausage smothered in creamy crab dip, pickled sweet corn and fried green tomatoes, served on a pretzel bun. (Baltimore Seafood House, Section 5)
• The Sub-Marine: crispy beer-battered locally-caught fish topped with creole mustard tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickles, served on a hoagie roll. (Baltimore Seafood House, Section 5)
