Warstic recruits Youth Academy athletes for latest product launch
Renowned baseball and softball equipment manufacturer Warstic Sports, whose headquarters are in Dallas¡¯ Deep Ellum neighborhood, launched its brand-new Lone Star Edition Bonesaber Hybrid -10 baseball bat today.
Three Youth Academy athletes turned models for a day were featured in Warstic¡¯s announcement, representing baseball¡¯s future stars. Eleven-year-old Greylon Lawrence, 10-year-old Benjamin ¡°Benji¡± Garcia, and 9-year-old Bastion Dorsey can be seen throughout promotional materials wielding the red, white and blue Bonesaber Hybrid.
Founded by former ballplayer Ben Jenkins in 2011, Warstic has become a premium sporting goods brand, and in 2016, expanded with co-owners Jack White, former lead singer of The White Stripes, and Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Famer Ian Kinsler, a familiar face at the West Dallas Academy.
As part of the new product launch, Warstic is giving back to DFW¡¯s baseball community by designating a portion of the proceeds from every Lone Star Edition Bonesaber sold to the Texas Rangers Youth Academy.
"At Warstic Sports, our collaboration with the Rangers Foundation & Youth Academy is more than just a bat release; it's a commitment to the future of baseball,¡± said Christine Edgington, vice president at Warstic Sports, Inc. ¡°Inspired by our owner Ian Kinsler's passion for the Academy's work, we designed a special edition red, white and blue bat as a tribute to our home team and a tool for giving back.
¡°A portion of the proceeds will support the Academy's vital role in developing young athletes, both on and off the field. Our goal is to not only contribute financially but also to raise awareness about the Academy's mission, encouraging our community to join us in supporting the next generation of ballplayers."
The three featured athletes represent the target audience as young up-and-coming ballplayers, all having left strong impressions on and off the field while participating in Youth Academy baseball programming and 12U tournaments.
Available in varying lengths and barrel sizes, the two-piece hybrid constructed with ultra-light-weight premium alloy is built for speed without sacrificing power, wrapped in a red, white and blue glossy gradient, with an ultra-thin synthetic hand grip and capped off with Warstic¡¯s patented Pommel Precision Knob for maximum comfort and control.
Lawrence, Garcia and Dorsey will soon be seen with their own Lone Star Edition Bonesaber bats in their respective sizes, courtesy of Warstic.
