Bassitts Pitch In
Chris and Jessica Bassitt are back for a third season of Bassitts Pitch In, helping to expand baseball programming for children and youth attending summer school across Toronto!
Once again, the Bassitt family has generously pledged to donate $10,000 USD to Jays Care for every game the Blue Jays win when Chris pitches this season.
Fans are encouraged to pitch in with the Bassitts today!
By donating, you will help foster a love for baseball and create lasting learning opportunities for more than 2,300 kids this summer.
Your support will directly impact kids in Jays Care¡¯s R.B.I. Summer Edition program, which provides free, high-quality baseball and educational opportunities to students in under-resourced communities in Toronto.

What Will the Funds Make Possible?
Children in under-resourced communities face significant learning loss over the summer, making it harder to keep up in the next school year. To close this gap, Jays Care launched R.B.I. Summer Edition in 2023¡ªa free, afternoon baseball program that enhances the Toronto District School Board¡¯s half-day summer school curriculum.
Now entering its third year, R.B.I. Summer Edition will continue at 13 schools within the Toronto District School Board, engaging more than 2,300 students in Grades 1 to 8 and employing 450+ youth staff from local communities to lead programming.
Thanks to the generosity of the Bassitts and Toronto Blue Jays fans like you, more than $438,000 has been raised in the last two years. These funds help kids in priority neighborhoods to have access to safe, inclusive, and free baseball and learning opportunities all summer long. Together, we are helping children to succeed through the transformative power of baseball.
Let¡¯s make year three the biggest yet¡ªPitch In today!
