Adeiny Hechavarria unleashed a satisfying bat flip after his go-ahead dinger

Bat flips have seemingly been in decline this season (unless your name is Odúbel Herrera). We're hoping it's just an anomaly and lumber begins flying again with the excitement of October. Adeiny Hechavarria, a member of the AL Wild Card-chasing Rays and a bat-flip connoisseur, seems to feel that way too. After hitting a homer off Sonny Gray to give his team an eventual 2-1 victory over the Yankees on Tuesday, Hechavarria celebrated with some nice, "Thank you but I am quite finished with you, bat" flippage.
MLB.com's Danny Knobler spoke to the shortstop about the moment postgame. "I do that even when I don't hit a home run," Hechavarria said. "I do it if I hit a line drive. If you go back and look at the videos, you'll see." Much respect, Adeiny. You bat flip as many times as your heart desires.
