Underwent ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow on August 28th...Mets Medical Director Dr. David Altchek performed the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery...Missed June and July while trying to rehab from a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament of his right elbow...Made four appearances with New Orleans (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League in August before he was shut down...Began the season with the Mets before he was optioned to New Orleans on May 5th...Recalled for a second time on May 15th...
