NOAH-GIBSON JAMES WASHINGTON NAYLOR...Younger brother of Josh Naylor...Bo was a standout high school catcher at St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and appeared in seven games with the Ontario Blue Jays in 2018, the elite 18U travel team in Ontario, Canada...Brother, Myles, was a senior at St. Joan of Arc and was selected and signed by Oakland in the 2023 MLB Draft (1st round, 39th overall)...Also toured Florida as a member of the Canadian Junior National Team during spring training, including games and at-bats against the Major League staffs of the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays...Participated in the 2017 High School Home Run Derby during the All-Star Game festivities at Marlins Park...Entered the draft ranked 27th and 20th among amateur draft-eligible prospects according MLB.com and Baseball America, respectively....In 2023, Naylor attended multiple community events after being called up. He became an active member of the Guardians Chess Club and attended tryouts for the Guardians Nike RBI 12U team with Xzavion Curry where the pair gave advice and signed autographs for the young players.

Split the season between AA Akron and AAA Columbus, batting a combined .263 (109-for-415) with 26 2B, four 3B, 21 HR, 68 RBI, 73 runs and 20 steals in 118 games (.392/.496/.888)¡He was the only catcher in MiLB in 2022 with a 20/20 season, leading the system w/a .888 OPS, second in walks (82), slugging pct (.496) and OBP (.392) and fifth in HR (21)¡ The only two 20HR/20SB catchers in MLB history are Pudge Rodriguez (TX, 1999) & J.T. Spent entire season at AA Akron, batting a career-low .188 (59-for-313) with 24 extra-base hits and 44 RBI in 87 games...At 21, was playing nearly 3.0 years below the Double-A Northeast average of 23.9 YOA...Was successful on all 10 of his stolen base attempts... Caught the last four innings for the A.L. team in the July 11 SiriusXM Futures Game in Denver...Enters 2022 the 7th-best prospect in the system and best defensive catcher (Baseball America)... Did not hit above .230 over any calendar month...Best statistical month was July, batting .210 (13-for-62) with 5 HR, 18 RBI and a .796 OPS in 17 games...Posted a .993 (5E/766TC) and threw out 21 of 68 (31%) of potential base stealers...Recorded walk-off, ninth-inning single in Game 3 of the Double-A Northeast finals to send Akron to the league title...Went 2-for-5 with 2 HR and 6 RBI on July 31 at Erie.

Spent the 2019 season at Single-A Lake County, batting .243 with 18 2B, 10 3B, 11 HR and 65 RBI in 107 games...Led the Midwest League in triples and was fifth in RBI, tied for sixth in extra-base hits and eighth in slugging pct...Named the No.3 prospect in Cleveland system by Baseball America and the No. 5 prospect by MLB Pipeline entering the 2019 season...Got better as the season wore on, hitting .251 with 39 RBI and a .764 OPS in the second half (57 G)...Batted .294 (55-for-187) with runners on base.
